Asia Minor catastrophe memory & humanitarian crisis

The Asia Minor Catastrophe constitutes for me a point of both personal and collective reference, as it is connected to my heritage and shapes the way I approach historical memory. At the same time, my experience through years of volunteer work in conditions of humanitarian crisis brings the past into direct dialogue with the present, highlighting the continuity of trauma and displacement.
